Texas Association of Fairs & Events (TAF&E) presented the Midland County Horseshoe Arena, three awards for marketing excellence. The awards were given for the Horseshoe's 2011 Jurassic June "Movies on the Terrace" Thursday's in June Event Series.
Midland County’s Premier Event Facility, The Horseshoe Arena has hosted over 700 Events since opening March 2006….and we are just beginning. The venue has played host to Championship rodeos, equestrian competitions, concerts, sporting events, trade shows, conventions and wedding receptions. The complex is also home to the annual Midland County Fair. Held the 4th weekend in August.
Visitors to the complex are greeted by the world’s largest horseshoe. The sculpture serves as a tribute to Midland County’s ranching heritage.
